Updating Owner Account Info

The following are common issues that result in a change to an owner’s account information. For changes in ownership due to a sale, divorce, death of an owner or transfer to a trust please click here to go to the “Transfer of Interest” page. ADDRESS CHANGE

Submit change of address request in writing with signature of owner(s). If the title to the property is held jointly, both owners must sign. Please be sure to include all owner numbers.Address changes will be implemented in the system as soon as possible upon receipt.

NAME CHANGE

Submit a photocopy of marriage certificate, divorce decree reinstating maiden name or other document effecting name change. Namechanges will be implemented in the system as soon as possible upon receipt.

COMPANY OR CORPORATION NAME CHANGE

Submit the Certificate of Name Change that has been filed in the County or Parish where the property is located.

COMPANY OR CORPORATION MERGES

Submit a Certificate of Merger that has been filed in the County or Parish where the property is located. Please include the newtax identification number if applicable.

APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN OR POWER OF ATTORNEY

Submit a copy of Power of Attorney or Letters of Guardianship.
